Jacques Villeneuve BAR Honda race suit F1 overalls 2001
These overalls were worn by Jacques Villeneuve during the 2001 F1 season.
The reigning Indy car champion joined F1 in 1996 and set the record (that he still holds) for most wins in a debut season only losing the title in the final race to D.Hill. He then went on to win the world championship in 1997 after a season long fight with M.Schumacher.
2001 was JV's strongest year with the BAR Honda team, hitting the podium twice with two outstanding performances.
Son of an F1 legend, Indy car world champion, F1 world champion, winner of the Indy 500 and runner up (nearly got the whole set) of Le Mans. JV truly has racing in his blood and has raced everythign with 4 wheels - trucks, electric cars, stock cars, rally cars, single seaters, Le mans, GT cars and of course single seaters
